How to reduce blank space in Card (new)

Hi, 

I'm trying to use the Card (New) visual to stream in project details as a simple dynamic text box. 

I've wired it all up fine, but the call-out value is poor, I've reduced the padding to 0 on the bottom level. Reduced space between cards to 0. I've exhausted everything i can think of. 

Does anyone know how to remove the space that is impacting the card so much?

I am having the same issue. The card has to be triple the size of the actual text before it will display all of it.  Otherwise it cuts the text off and replaces it with ...

It appears to be particualrly bad when you have newlines in the test

@csantabarbara try to create the meaure with the text content and use the meaure in the card visual.

I'm having the same issue with the New Card visual. The callout is only displaying five lines of text, despite there being room for two to three more lines. The max number of lines displayed in the callout is unaffected by the addition of a Visual Title (see below). 

I even tried adding a Reference label to see if that would trick the visual into displaying as expected, but no dice. Other things that don't help: changing the Padding of the Card, changing the Shape of the Card, or increasing the height of the New Card visual. 

Comparing my results to the Original Poster's, it looks like the New Card visual has a display limit of five lines of text. Can someone verify?

I thought there may have been a limit on number of lines, but that's not it. Other ideas?

I found a solution to this in the end, the Card functions just aren't designed for what I needed but i have found that the 'Enlighten Data Story' visual that is free on the PBI store does almost everything that i needed to it.

To anyone sturggling with my issue, I'd suggest downloading it and giving that a try.

Apologies it is not the height of the card. 

The call-out value in the actual text box, it does not fill out the entire box, the text is not whole, it is cut off and replaced by '...' .
