Hi! I'm a PowerBI newbie.
My data:
| Item | 2023 Price | 2022 Price | [Growth] |
| Car | 200 | 250 | 0.8 |
| Table | 25 | 34 | 0.73 |
| Mouse | 3 | 5 | 0.6 |
| Paper | 0.5 | 0.8 | 0.625 |
| Total | 228.5 | 289.8 | 0.788 |
[Growth] Column is a measure**
I have a column chart that contains the Items with Growth > 0.8 (in this case, only Car).
I created a measure that says if my [Growth] is <0.8, my chart should be blank and I display "no data available" on a Card. But since I still have the car data (>0.8), the chart still contains something and my text does not show.
Would you know how to solve this?
Hi @ChristianDLS56,
Please correct me if my understanding of the problem is flawed.
From what I understood, you cannot have text and numbers displayed together in a chart, unless you convert the number to a string, and display it on a table visual, or if you use and IF() statement to visualize the measure on a table.
If your measure is returning a blank and you want to see the blank in your visual then, from the fields pane, click on the downward arrow and enable show items with no data, the 2nd last option in the picture.
Hope this helps and if it doesn't then please provide more information, along with some sample data, for us to understand the problem better.
Thank you,
Vishesh Jain
