How to make my PBI file can refresh from my note book and PC all the time ?

Hi All

In the past i only have note book , i can refresh with any issue , below issue happen when i start to do PBI at my PC,

I have a PBI file , i place at share folder.  i have one note book and one PC. 

Now the file can Refresh with out any issue at PC. But when i refresh on my note book , i get below error msg. 

In order to be able to refresh with my note book with out any issue , i need to sign in microsoft account for all the folder i need to access.

My question is how to make both system able to refresh with out any issue ? 

Hint :- 

- I am using free desktop software version,

- All my raw data save at share point,

Hi @admin11 ,

You can uninstall the old version via the control panel and download the latest version form this link.
If you still have problems with your notebook after the update, you can check it by downloading the August desktop version from this link.

I just make my PC version to OCT which is the latest version , it still able to refresh. but my note book version also OCT , but it still cannot refrest. 

If i sign in all 20 sharepoint folder , and i will be able to refresh from notebook , But the issue is when i refresh at PC , i still need to sign in 20 share point folder again. which is very un-productive.

Since my PC is able to reload with Aug version , So i should un-install my note book , and install with Aug version , if it work , mean it is cause by version issue. 

May i know it the above approach correct ?

Yes ,you are right.

The November version will also be released soon, and some existing issues may be fixed in the November release. For the current scenario, confirm whether your problem is due to the version.

I just check my PC version is Aug , my note book version is Oct.

Do i need to make both Oct ? My note book is automatic update to Oct , may i know how to update my PC version to OCT ?

@admin11 , You should sign to power bi and also to SharePoint in connection, then it should work.

I have check both PBI desktop sign in same account , see image below .

PC can refresh and note book cannot refresh. In the past NB can refresh , PC cannot refresh . after i make PC can refresh now note book unable refresh.

or i not follow your instruction ?
