I would like to make the boolean value to be some awesome icons, but the result will become the following which is not following the rules.

Hi @harryli
If you want to choose Sum in conditional formatting window, ensure the column is of Number type (whole number or decimal number). Only number-type columns can be aggregated with Sum.
Then in conditional formatting, select Icon only for Icon layout.
