How to make a drilldown button only work on one table visual?

I have 2 table visuals both from the same query but with different parameters.  One shows Open Work Orders and the other shows Completed work orders.  I created a button to drilldown the Open Work Orders.  I only want to drilldown on the Open Workorders table.  However, it is also drilling down on the other table.

How can I make the button only work for the one table?  I have tried editing interactions and that didn't work.  Thank you.

    Hi hmeltonPSL ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Drill-down buttons in Power BI are context-sensitive and will affect whichever visual is currently selected on the canvas. There is no option to link a drill action button to just one specific table.

If several visuals use the same hierarchy, the drill action will impact all visuals at that detail level. Adjusting interactions only affects filtering or highlighting and does not separate drilldown actions in this case.

As an alternative, make sure the user selects the “Open Work Orders” table visual before using the drill-down button, or place the button near that visual so it becomes the active one when clicked.

Currently, Power BI does not support isolating drill actions to a single visual as a built-in feature.

Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.

    Thank you.

Created as a blank button then added the drilldown action.
