How to make a data tab visible?

Hi everyone,
I have a thin report (without a data tab), as well as I have a file with original dataset.
My question is how to connect a thin file to original dataset to make a data been visible in the report?

    Anonymous , See like you are using live connection of direct query(without any import mode table) in that can data view will not be available.

     

    For Live , you can make it Direct Query Using option under model view

     

    like

     

     

    Once you add a local table then you will be able see data view in direct query

    The issue is that I have to see the all data model that are relevant to the reports. 

    With the approach you suggested it's doesn't work
