I'm currently creating a powerbi dashboard that gets its data from my outlook account. I'm using power bi desktop to do this.
Once I publish my dashboard, does it automatically sync data from my outlook account using the microsoft exchange online connector?
Should I use power bi service to do this? If so, how?

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can refer the following links to connect to Exchange Online:
How to Connect Microsoft Exchange Online Datasets with Power BI?
Publish Real-Time Microsoft Exchange Data to PowerBI.com
And it will not sync the data from the outlook account automatically, you can refresh the report manually or configure a schedule refresh to get the updated info...
Configure scheduled refresh - Power BI

Hi - I've been looking for days for this info.
I'm a bit confused because I saw a post the other day from MS that said I could NOT refresh because Exchange Online was not supported for scheduled refresh operations. Has this changed now (post was Nov21).
Also this post which is Jun24 also has a table which says MS Exchange cannot be refreshed.

What is the ACTUAL situation please ? Anyone?
