How to insert a comma (,) in a value

Hello All,

In my direct query i am getting counts , they are in thousand's how can i get a comma in formatting.

For example 5048,1003,10000 must be like (5,048)(1,003)(10,000).

Please advice.

Thanks

  • Hi Anonymous ,

In the case where you select the field you want, turn to modeling tab and select Thousands separator. If modeling tab is still grey, please check if your connect mode is Live Connection.

May not work with direct query but have you tried using the Modeling tab and in the Formatting section click on the comman (,) icon?
