Hi,
I have a Microsoft surface laptop and set at 2256 X 1504 resolution.
There is black dotted line in the report view which takes away a lot of space..is there a solution to get rid of it or change some of the report settings?

Click anywhere on the background and do the following
It's probably worth to note that the default setting is optimized for the web service so the user will not have to scroll up, down, left or right, my personal preference is to keep it as it is.
