How to import DataModel and DiagramLayout into excel
I used 7-zip file manager to extract these files from PowerBi (see Screenshot 1). When I try to import these files as json, I get a We reached the end of buffer" error (see Screenshot 2) and when I try to import it as XML it gives me an "Xml Processing Failed" error (see screenshot 3).
Does anyone have suggestions how to import the data from these files?

After my investigation, there is no suitable approach that can successfully load DataModel and DiagramLayout files into Power BI. May I ask what you are ultimately trying to get? Maybe we can try other ways to achieve the results you want.... If you are trying to get the data model and layout information of a report, why not just open the file in Power BI Desktop to edit it since you have the pbix file?

If you are trying to get the data model and layout information of a report, why not just open the file in Power BI Desktop to edit it since you have the pbix file?
