How to implement SSRS seriesgroup equivalent in powerbi charts

Hi,

In SSRS charts, we had feature called "series groups". Using this feature, when we drag a particular column to this series group section, automatically we get distinct values in that column in the chart

For example, consider the below screen shot

Here, year is in x-axis, total_agreement is in y-axis and AgreementStatusDesc is the "series group". Automatically distinct values of AgreementStatusDesc values are highlighted when we choose this field under SeriesGroup field.

Can you please let me know how can we implement this feature in power bi

Hi Raksha,

In Power BI desktop, you can add a “Stacked column chart” visualization, drag [AgreementStatusDesc] field to Legend property which acts the same role as the Series group in SSRS. Please refer to screenshot below:
