To achieve the behavior you want, you need to create a disconnected table for selection, for example:
And then you can use a measure for condutuional formatinh like
selected color =if(SELECTEDVALUE(selections[Column1])=SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Column1]),"pink","white")Result
