I have a list of entries. There is a column called "County". It has county entries but it also has country entries - which are pretty random. have set up a Column by Example and given it patterns and that works OK but the file has thousands of entries. I get I could use a conditional column but I was wondering if I could use something like a vlookup with a list of countries. Anyone got any suggestions for this one? Thanks.

Hi @agwalsh1812 ,
You can do a merge (also callled blend, join) in Power Query if you have separate table to lookup.
