How to get tooltip to show info for only one line? high density toggle does not work

I have a multiple lines chart trend over time.

When I roll over one line, I want only the info for that line and date. Power BI instead shows me all lines for that date.

I tried

-disabling "High-density Sampling" per the post without any change

-creating my own custom tooltips

I talked to power bi support and apparently this is not possible
