How to get slicer to highlight bar chart elements, not just filter the bar chart

Hi I'm using Power BI Desktop.

I've placed the slicer on the left of my screen so that I can select one or more options within the slicer (see below).

When I do, I want the line chart or bar chart to the right of the slicer to highlight the relevant elements, not filter them.

At the moment when I select Format > Edit Interactions, I can only filter the associated bar/line chart, not highlight.

How can I highlight?

Thanks.

No, it's not possbile to make slicer to hightlight other visuals only without filtering data. For your requirement, you should use a Table visual and populate corresponding data field. When you click on an entry, it will hight the corresponding bar/line in chart.
