How to get Dataverse logical names?

Hello,

One of the recent Power BI Updates introduced a feature where Dataverse fields will have their Display Names shown in the data model.

Unfortunately this broke all of our reporting because our Dataverse (Dynamics CRM) has German as a primary language but our reporting is in English. So with this update all the fields in all of the reports were switched to German and users couldn't use them anymore.

There used to be couple of workarounds (e.g., using reference or appending queries) when renaming didn't happen and we would receive logical names which we renamed in Power Query. This is fixed now.

Is there any way to get logical names from the dataverse to Power BI Desktop now?

We know it is possible to rename the fields directly in the data model but this is dangerous - there is no way of later finding which field got which name. And honestly, renaming couple hundred fields again is not productive.

I really hope there is a solution for this.
