How to generate a dynamic slicer from different columns
Hi all,
I'm working on a new PowerBI report, and I have trouble developing a dynamic slicer.
Let say I have a table named ProjectReference:
| Project Name | Year 1 | Year 2 | Year3 |
| Pjt 46 | 2024 | 2025 | 2026 |
| Pjt 57 | 2025 | 2026 | 2027 |
I have on my page a slicer based on Project Name column.
Is there a way to have a second slicer who would display values of columns Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 according to what is selected on the first slicer ?
For example, if on my first slicer I select Pjt 46, I woud like to see on my second slicer a list with 3 values : 2024, 2025 or 2026, wich can be selected to filter other data.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,
Alice

Thank you for your answer, but as I'm on live connection I can't used Field Parameter or unpivot my data.
Any alternative ?- AnonymousNot applicable
Hi Anonymous ,
Unfortunately, this problem requires data cleansing, which can be solved simply by trying to convert Live Connection to Direct Query.
Hope it helps!
