Hi Team,
I have an excel with report lineage details.
I want to create a power bi visualization which shall help me understand how many reports are on top of any 1 table.
How to create a visual which shall show it in a branch like structure, like 1 table maps to how many reports.
fyi..i am not looking at the workspace/report lineage generated by Power BI ,out of the box.
Regards
I would suggest looking at flow map type visuals like sankey, PaF.
I would suggest the decomposition tree. Check it out: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-decomposition-tree
Hi Jorge,
Thanks for the response. However decomposition tree starts with an aggregated value, like sum(x) etc. Here I do not want to start with any aggregated value.Rather with table name.
I understand. Maybe you can use an organization chart from the app source. What do you think?
Thanks Jorge.Shall try.
