How to freeze the values of any filter or lock the filter ?

I  am trying to show the comparision of sales or something or two months, that two months user will decide. For that I am giving two filters of months, so that user can select two different months from two different filters. But It didn't work as if I select january from first filter , second filter automatically get updated and keeps jaunary only.

Is there any way to lock or freeze the filter  or is there any other way of doing this?

I can fix the month in expression itself but I want to give user this option.

Select the other slicer, Go to Format, Edit Interactions and unselect the funnel to stop the cross filteration of slicers and other visuals as well in case you need. See the attached screenshot.
