I'm sorry if this question is already answered. I did search and only found one item, which doesn't have an answer - publish to web but missing filters? - Microsoft Fabric Community
We are an elecitons office. I want to do an audit report showing the users in our system, their permissions, and last time they logged in. We have a production, training, UAT, and QA environments, all in the same database. This database is from our vendor and the same structure is used by all their clients, so we have no chance to change them.
In the desktop version, I can filter my report based on the environment, which is a data field.
This report will be published to our web portal. How do I do this on the web? Do I need to make different queries for the different environments?
Thank you all! I think I got it. I was able to move the slicer to the left of the screen outside the main data area.
thank you. I'd like the web version to have the same slicer or a drop down to allow for the selection on the web page.
Is that doable?
Hi, thank you for answering. I want the web version to have the slicer option so I can choose. I see if I create a slicer on the desktop, it appears on teh web. However, it is prominent on the page. Any way to minimize it or make it into a drop down?
Refer to the following screenshots. Once you insert the slicer in put the value of what you want to filter by inside of it. Then goi to formatting and follow the second screenshot.
Please explain further. What do you mean when you publish to web portal. You want to keep the same slicer on the web version? If that is the case, just create a slicer on your desktop version before publishing.
