How to filter a slicer from another slicer

Hi all,

I have two different pages, one with an overview prespective and the second with a more detailed one. In the second page I have a customer slicer, so you can choose whose client you want to show the data. I would like that the customers showing in this customer slicer were the result of the slicers applied in the first page. For example, if in the first page I select "Germany" in the country slicer, I would like that the client slicer in the second page would only show the customers only from Germany.

Thank you for attention,

Agustí.

@agusti_oliveres,

You'll want to look into synced slicers. In the View tab in the ribbon, check the "Sync Slicers" box to open up the sidebar:

view.PNG

Then, create the slicer you want to sync, in your case a country slicer:

sync.PNG

The first column allows you to choose what pages you want the slicer to apply to. The eye column allows you to show or hide the slicer on each page. You'll want to show it on the first page and hide it on the rest.

This allows your users to select a country using that slicer, and assuming your table relationships are correct, all other pages in the report will apply that filter.

Hi,

Drag the Country slicer to the Report filters section.  When you make any selection in that slicer, the visuals on all pages will get sliced.
