How to export dashboard / report using slice option
Hi all,
I am new to Power BI and migrating the report or dashboard from legacy tool to power bi. We have the requirement as follow
1. On Legacy tool - Grid Report in Dashboard with have the page by option
2. Export to PFD - Will slice the data using page by option as each session
How to achieve this in power bi
EX:
Category - Product - Sales - Revenue - %
Cat1 - Prod 1 - 100 - 100 - 2%
Cat1 - Prod2 - 100 - 100 - 1%
Cat2 - Prod1 - 100 - 100 - 1%
Expecting Output: Export to PDF / Excel
Cat 1 with product details as page / sheet
Cat 2 wiith product details as new page / new sheet
Please suggest

After my research, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now.
Export to PDF is only available with Power BI Desktop, and is not currently available in the Power BI service. and it will export the whole report to PDF. and it will affect by the slicer or hide page.

Export to Excel can export that data to Excel as an .xlsx or .csv file.
when you select Underlying data > Export and choosing .xlsx. It will export the detail data, and it is only in the same page,
not one category per page.

For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner .
