How to efficiently update multiple (or all) tables in Power BI with the new datasource location?

Hi everybody,

My Power BI file has 10 tables imported from the same excel file. If I move this excel file to another location, how can I update the file location for all tables in one go, instead of clicking on each table and updating the datasource one by one?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks. But I rarely need to update datasources, while parameter is for dynamic and refrequent updating.

You have to change the location atleast one time. However if you are going to change source location multiple times then better to use parameter and use that value in source. You can find it under Power Query -> Home -> Manage Parameter -> New Parameter. Once you create parameter and added list of values (of source location) under that parameter, you need to replace your actual path with parameter name from Advanced Editor. Once done you may change the parameter value to change location.

Hope this helps. If this resolves your problem then please mark this as Solution.
Thanks
