How to download Graph data with same Header name

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to export the graph data as table but it is not showing the table header as per the calculated measure and not as per the graph header name. I could see the "Data with current layout" option, but it is not enabled. Can anyone please help me with any suggestions?

Regards,
Surekha

  • Hi Anonymous ,

Thank you for help. For now, I have made the changes in the column name in the Power BI desktop itself. So, this issue is resolved now.

    Hi Surekha_PM ,

Regarding your question, you need the column names of the exported data to be the same as the field names in the visualization, right?

    Like this?

    Please use .csv file format.

The "Use data from current layout" option automatically exports totals for table visuals or matrix visuals.

      HI Anonymous

Thanks for your help. This works. But client might select the xlsx format while downloading the file. Is there any way to give only one option of csv to downlaod the file.

      Regards,
      Surekha

  • Hi Anonymous ,

Firstly, thank you so much for your continuous reply to all my queires. Truly appreciated! Secondly, I made the changes that you suggested. Even after doing so, I don't see the option that is showing on your end.

    Changes made in PowerBI Desktop:

Even after this, the report header is still same. It shows the database name in it.

What am I missing on my end?

    Regards,
    Surekha
