Hi there, I'm looking to create a heatmap like this, where the values are a count of the number of different applications that have both the y and x value.

I have put together a list of the values for x and y

And the actual data that I'm trying to count looks like this:

With the nested lists containing the values to be counted.

How on earth can I do this!!?? My matrix just looks like this at the moment:

Thank you so much for your help.
A follow up Q (if that's allowed!?) How do I make it so that when I click on a number, it gives me a list of the applications that are being counted??
That expand into rows button is extremely useful thank you
@fackjox , Expand the list into rows using the expand icon near to the column name.
Then create matrix visual.
You can use measure-based conditional formatting to create a heat map visual. You need use background conditional formatting using the field value option
example
Color Date = if(FIRSTNONBLANK('Date'[Date],TODAY()) < date(2022,04,10) ,
Switch(true(),
[SLA] = 1 , "Green" ,
[SLA] >= .75 , "Amber" ,
"Red "
) ,
Switch(true(),
[SLA] = 1 , "Green" ,
[SLA] >= .5 , "Amber" ,
"Red "
)
)
Color = Switch( True() ,
Max(Table[Status]) < 200 ,
Switch(true(),
[ERB] = .25 , "Orange" ,
"Red "
) ,
Max(Table[Status]) < 500 ,
Switch(true(),
[ERB] = .25 , "Orange" ,
"Red "
) ,
Switch(true(),
[ERB] = .25 , "Orange" ,
"Red "
)
)
How to do conditional formatting by measure and apply it on pie?
