Hi All,
I have a customer No column and i want to use this in a slicer as, the slicer should be a drop down and that drop down values should have below values.
1.All
2.Range of CustNo
3.Specific CustNo
And my main requirement is :
->User can run the report for all CustNos, if they do not want to filter out any CustNos from the report data.
->User can choose the second option, if they want to run the report for any range of CustNos and they will be asked to enter beginning and ending CustNos in the next parameter field.
->User can choose the third option, if they want to run the report for any specific CustNos and in that case, they must select that CustNos in the next parameter field.
Based on the slicer selction the report should display the values.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi @RadhaE ,
For your case, I create three tables for selections.
All conditions =
{ "All", "Range of CustNo", "Specific CustNo" }
For Range =
VALUES ( 'Table'[CustNo] )
For Specific =
VALUES ( 'Table'[CustNo] )
Then create a flag measure:
Flag =
SWITCH (
TRUE (),
MAX ( 'All conditions'[Value] ) = "All", 1,
MAX ( 'All conditions'[Value] ) = "Range of CustNo"
&& MAX ( 'Table'[CustNo] ) >= MIN ( 'For Range'[CustNo] )
&& MAX ( 'Table'[CustNo] ) <= MAX ( 'For Range'[CustNo] ), 1,
MAX ( 'All conditions'[Value] ) = "Specific CustNo"
&& MAX ( 'Table'[CustNo] ) IN ALLSELECTED ( 'For Specific'[CustNo] ), 1
)
And apply the measure to the filters pane and set as " is 1"
Final Output:
Best Regards,
Jinwei Li

In current UI of power Desktop , We can not customise slicers. You can use book Marks and then may be you can manipulate the user experience
