Based on your description, we recommend you to use a custom Visual - The xViz Gantt Chart.
It has several features that may meet your requirements:

atasgao No idea, there are literally hundreds of third-party visuals and I haven't used all of them. If it is the hatched bars you want you might be able to do that with an image, stacked visuals and transparent backgrounds.
