Ensure that your x-axis field is a date and set to continuous. Trend line option is not available with categorical.
also with the line and Clustered Col Chart i don`t get the trendline option 😂

Select Line and Clustered Col Chart and use X Axis, Column, and Line Axis
Then you can use the Trend Line
