How to create a dynamic query to my Azure databricks spark sql database

I am working on a Power BI desktop application. I want to create a query to my Azure databricks spark sql database dynamically from a drop down menu. When an item in the drop down menu is selected, I will be able to create a query referencing the selection in the where statement. Please suggest me how to do it. Thanks.
