How to create a bar chart that shows % of column total by category by month

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create below chart in Power bi but don't know how to do it. Can someone show me please? I have the spend data and category name in the data set.

It looks like you want the clustered bar chart visual type. You need to unpivot your data in Power Query first (select the category column, right click -> unpivot other columns). This will add a date column to your data. Then close and apply and drop the percentage column in the Y axis slot and category in the legend.

Hi Chrsitine,

Thanks for your comment. I tried your method but it's not quite the result I wanted. I want to show each bar as % of column total by month
