How to create a Aging measure with Incremental values

Hi,

We normally create Aging bins with the specific intervals needed.

I have a requirement where i need to keep the value of the previous bin in the next bin also.

Normal Aging Binning - 0-2 ; 3-7 ; 8-12 ; 13-21 ; 21+

My Requirement - 0-2 ; 0-7 ; 0-12 ; 0-21 ; 0-21+

I used 'If' in the measure and it dint work as the satisfied values are not taken in the next bin. Kinldy let me know how to achieve this in Power BI

Actually i need one more help as well...Here you created the groups in the backend. I need a way to get inputs and based on the inputs, the group band should change.

Basically there are 4 groups 0-2 ; 0-6 ; 0-8 ; 0-8+ . I need to be able to provide inputs to each of the bins such that the group band should change accordingly. Eg, i give 3,5,7,8 then the groups should take values as 0-3 ; 0-5; 0-7 ; 0-8+.

I have 2 requiments where in 1 i need to give static binning and also need to provide dynamic value entry for the same no of groups. Is this possible to do?

    Hey Anonymous ,

    why didn't it work?

Can you share your approach or at least the table? Usually a calculated column with an if or switch statement should do it.

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

I am using the normal binning that we do. But for this requirement i need to tweak the code that that each new bin should encompass the previous bins data too. I have mentioned that in my example.
