How to count using 3 concatenate columns

Hello Guys,

I woulld like to ask for help on how to get the count/sum from one table to another table using 3 differen columns.

First Table                                                             Second Table

Category   Brand   Purchased Date                       Category     Brand     Date

Nike          Shoes   7/31/2019                                Puma          Shoes     8/1/2019

Puma        Shoes   8/1/2019                                  Nike            Shoes     7/31/2019

Adidas      Shirt      8/1/2019                                 Puma           Shoes     8/1/2019

Nike          Shirt      8/2/2019                                 Nike            Shirt        8/2/2019

count should be:

2 Puma shoes 8/1/2019

1 NIke  shoes 7/31/201

1 Nike shirt 8/2/2019

I did concatenate the 3 columns and buid in relationship but it gave me null values.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks Guys

  • Hi ishzoulify,

If you want tto get below result , you could follow below steps:

You could create relatinship between table 1 and table 2 based on category(many to many)

     Then create measure like below

    Measure = COUNT(Table2[categoty])

    Best Regards,
    Zoe Zhi
