How to convert reports from excel to BI

I have a report designed in excel and now I want to convert that report to power BI while keeping the original design format. I want to ask if I can do that. If so, please help me.

Thank you very much. Wish you have a nice day

Hi @nmhung49 ,

According to the description you provided, this can be easily achieved in powerbi by creating matrix visual. And with customized conditional formatting to achieve a more beautiful display.
But the premise that you need to provide the underlying data source, rather than directly copy and paste the results of the display in excel into powerbi.
I made a simple demo to achieve a similar effect, refer to the following:

Hi @nmhung49 There's no tool that will convert your Excel report to Power BI. You have to do it manually. By looking at your Excel report, it's all a Matrix visual in Power BI that can be easily replicated. Keep in mind that the purpose of moving to Power BI from Excel is to provide better visualization of your data. If you want to keep the exact same layout then stay in Excel, easier for your end users because they are familier with looking at this long and wide reports for ages and might not be ready for a change.

Just sharing some thoughts 🙂
