Hello experts.
I'm a basic Power BI user and have been asked at work to visualize Elasticsearch data in Power BI. I immediately went about researching this stuff online and learnt that Power BI doesn't support a direct connector to ELasticsearch and that I would need to do the following 2 things -
1. download and install an ODBC driver to make the connection
2. also create a DSN
I've tried various Youtube vidoes and Blogs posts etc but have failed to create a connection so far. I've gone through so much of information, that I now fear that i've gone down plenty of rabit holes. I also noticed that ODBC driver usage cost money, as it reequires me to purchase a subscription. Is this true? Is there no way I can do this for Free?
I do have the login credentials for my company's Elasticsearch account, and I have a Power BI pro license.
I'm desparately looking for someone who could point me in the right direction or help guide me on how to work with Elasticsearch data in Power BI.
Any and all guidance would be sincerley appreciated!
PS: I've also tried going through forum posts similar to the nature of my query, but everything I came across seemed pretty advanced.
