How to configure auto refresh in Desktop Version?
Super Useraltopene , Limit depend on version. For Pro, I think it is 10 GB. Then you have a premium user or premium workspace. Inremental is one way, Direct query is another way of do want to load data to power BI
I tried from Pro. it is 1024 MB only. Direct Query would not work in my case since it is a huge dataset and I want to either set up incremental refresh effectively or create an extract so that I dont have to refresh the same dataset multiple time.

Hello altopene
You can try different Cases!
1. In the case of huge Datasets, we can use a direct query to make our file size small so that we dont exceed the limit of 1024 MB
2. You can eliminate some columns or table which do you don't need.
3. You can use dataflows, not sure if it might help.
And we cannot extract huge datasets in Power BI as we have certain limitation on rows.
