How to change language on Date Hierarchy

How can I change the language of the date hierarchy field from chinese to english?

Hi @Cardi0z ,

 

Hope everything is going well.

 

You've provided a screenshot of the Regional Settings and it looks like the settings are correct.

 

After actual operation, it was found that there is only one way that this error will occur.


In order to reproduce your error, here are my steps:

 

1. When creating original data, the language type of the year, quarter, month, and day column titles of the date is Chinese:

2. Custom hierarchy:

3. Add year, quarter, month, and day columns to the custom hierarchy:

Your problem has been successfully reproduced.

Because the column heading language type in the original data is not English, there is currently no way to change the column heading language type after loading into the semantic model.

 

If you want to solve the problem, the only way is to create your data from scratch and make sure your header language type is English when creating the data.
