I am new to Power BI and I am not able to change data source in my PBI report.

You can update your data source from your Power bi desktop. Kindly follow below step.
Select Transform data drop
data source setting
select data file and change data source
update your excel reference.

Please follow the steps
1. Go to file (Upper left corner)
2. Options and settings (bottom left)
3. Data source settings
After clicking on Data source settings you will see the below prompt and you can change the data source which you want.

You can change the data source by going into transform data option :
Once the Power query window is open, click on your excel table and from Applied steps ---> click on source --->
Now you can change the path for your excel data source.
