How to avoid to create the automatic relationship when i create new query

Every time when i create a query PBI creates automatically the relationship when it finds the sames column name.

How can avoid it and create them manually?

I suppose there is a option somewhere but i dont find it

many thanks

Hello @Alessandro70

Steps to turn off automatic relationship detection

  1. In Power BI Desktop, go to the File menu.

  2. Select Options and settingsOptions.

  3. In the Options dialog box, under Current File (or Global if you want it for all files):

    • Go to Data Load.

    • Uncheck "Autodetect new relationships after data is loaded".

    • (Optional) You can also uncheck "Import relationships from data sources on first load" if you don’t want PBI to pick up existing DB relationships.

  4. Click OK.
