How to automate the refreshment of visual when report is displayed on tv?

We put a PBI report on display: bought a big tv that's always on. The data refreshes because the report uses Direct Query. But how to automate the refreshment of the visual to every 5 minutes - without anyone touching the report?

Or is it the case that only 3rd party solutions are available as suggested in here.

AFAIK, direct query model data refreshed when you interact with visual data, it does not support auto-refresh when you work on the desktop side. Maybe you can try to use live connection mode, it will auto-refresh every 15 minutes.

no such functionality in Power BI desktop or Power BI Service.
