Hi All,
I want to apply incremental load to dim Customer Table where we have last updated date present.
We are not maintaining history in Dim customer for example
Customer Name | location | Sales Representative | Last Updated Date |
Apurva | India | ABC | 20/3/2016 |
Ehthesham | US | XYZ | 24/4/2020 |
Sanjay | UAE | MNQ | 5/6/2024 |
when we are updating dim customer table for Apurva. Lets say Sales Representative for apurva got changed form ABC to STU
then record got replaced with changed in Last Updated Date. Please refer below updated table. How to apply incremental Load for same.
Customer Name | location | Sales Representative | Last Updated Date |
Apurva | India | STU | 7/2/2024 |
Ehthesham | US | XYZ | 24/4/2020 |
Sanjay | UAE | MNQ | 5/6/2024 |
Hi @Tatpuje_apurva ,
If you have a date on the table has you present on your data example the you can do it in the same way you do like any other table, linking the incremental to the Last update date

Miguel Félix
