How to apply auto refresh report data after publish ?
rakesh_singh Depending on your use case, it sounds like Direct Query may be an option. This would require installing the On Premises Data Gateway. This would allow you to interact with the report at any time and see the latest information. If you are not familiar with the connection types I wrote a blog here that explains them.
If you expect the report to just automatically refresh without interaction, it currently doesn't work like that.
I am new in Power BI desktop so i know there is a option of Direct Query when we connect to datasource. But my question is how do i use this option.
It would be much better if you can provide som tutorial on DQ and also how to use On Premises Data Gateway to refresh my publish report.

Hello,
I have installed on premise gateway on my system and also configured as per suggested through URL's.
I have set the scheduled refresh for report/dataset for the time 14:00 and then scheduled is started on time and take 3-10 min to complete it.
After scheduling process is completed then i have refresh the publish URL which is using in MVC application but not showing refreshed data.
So please provide the some video or tutorial on it so can understand it scheduled refresh process.
Thanks

Did you check the refresh history as I had indicated? Are there any errors? Does the data refresh successfully on the desktop application? If the data is not being updated on the desktop application, then the issue is not with scheduling. If the data updates on your desktop and not in the cloud then look for error messages in the refresh history.
