How to allow Power BI Bing Map

Hi,

 

I'm new to Power BI. I'm trying to learn how to use the map visualizations in Power BI. When I set up my location data set, the map doesn't display anything. I think I have to set up my Norton Antivirus Firewall to allow access to Bing Map's URL for geocoding.

 

Does anyone know how to setup access for Bing Maps using Norton Antivirus?

    Pretty sure it would just use port 80 or 443. 

     

    Could be an issue where you did not flag your field as Postal Code, Country, etc.?

    Dear Escaflowne01,

     

    Try to apply those steps that mentioned in norton website:

     

    1. Start Norton.

      If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

    2. In the Norton main window, click Settings.

    3. In the Settings window, click Firewall.

    4. On the Program Control tab, select the program that you want to allow access to the Internet.

    5. In the Access drop-down list for the program entry, click Allow.

    6. Click Apply.
