How to aggregate the Date column with a total count of business volume?

Hi BI communiting,

I have a dataset that looks like the following figure descriptin and I want the power BI visual table look like the one on the right

However, I kept getting the following result...

I create a countrows measure using the table as the parameter.

I know this is a silly question, but I just cannot figure out.

My bet is your date field actually has time in it as well, so it is not 31/05/23 it is 31/05/23 10:26:13 AM or something like that.  Try changing the format of the column to DateTime and see what it looks like.

In Power Query you can change if from a DateTime to a Date to strip off the time.
