Hi all,
For a financial dashboard I have this matrix table with ledger accounts (i.e. income and expenses) and financial periods (i.e. 2021, 2022). Now, for the use of the dashboard it is desired to add small calculations. For example it is seen that the income of 2021 was 100k, and for 2022 up untill this point it could be 90k. I want the end-user to add to the 90k everything that is still expected in 2022 for them to make a proper comparison.
The solution I found was to add a table ranging from -1m till +1m and make the addition part a slicer which adds the proper value to the ledger using a measure. This works but becomes rather expensive for the computing power of the report when having 15 of these tables. I have made minor perfomance upgrades (reducing the size by discarting the decimals, trying to combine some tables, ...), yet, this does not solve the computational size problem.
The question: is there an other way to incorperate basic (custom) calculations? To have the end-user give input to a measure would be everything i could ask for.
Thank you in advance.

Nevermind, I found it myself!
I was looking for the what-if parameters. Using a slicer this can be included in a measure as well!
Thanks for the thoughts everyone.

@MagisKoen , The solution might not be simple, I used extended dimension for the same , to have custom totals
