How to access power bi datasets from Data Hub?

Hello,

 

When trying to access Power BI datasets from the Data hub icon, I can not see any data there in the Data hub. what is the problem?

 

I have a free license.

    Hi, Anonymous 

     

    Here are some potential reasons. 

     

    1. License: Free Power BI license has limitations. You may need to upgrade for full features.
    2. Permissions: Check if you have required permissions to view the datasets. (Important issue)
    3. Data Source: Confirm if the data source is available and properly configured.
    4. Dataset Visibility: Datasets might need to be endorsed to be visible.
    5. Browser Issue: Clear cache or try a different browser.

    If these don't work, contact your Power BI admin.

    If you have a free license probably you only have My Workspace, and you cannot see those datasets published in my workspace in the datahub of pbi desktop. 

    If you create a new workspace and publish your dataset there or someone shares the dataset with you but you need a pro license for that, then you will be able to see the datasets.
