How to Sort Months Chronogically

I have viewed other solutions to another post but they are a bit confusing. So at the moment I have a chart that starts alphabetically starting with April and ending with May. Instead, I want to star...

    Before you created your own column, do you already have a column that shows a date? Like Posting Date? If so, go to the link below where you can get a table for Date (Requires Azure Login). Then I would create a relationship between the datekey and the Posting Date.

    Then take the the MonthName and Sort By Column against the MonthofYear.

Great what is the function for the column that i do? Will it be Month Number = ?
