How can I capture a snapshot of the Total Sales, Cost, Margin, and Margin % totals for a non-date-specific dataset, allowing me to compare the changes in total sales and cost for each of the five locations.
@Lamar249 , Join snapshot with date table, assume Total Sales
Then have measure like
calculate([Total Sales], previousday('Date'[Date]))

I need a visual like this created in Power Bi. The issue is none of this data is associated with a date. In esscence I need to sum up all of the data and save it in a seprate table in PBi as a single row for each facory location and the current date as the key.
example
05/1/23 | Factory 1 | Sales | Cost | Margin
05/1/23 | Factory 2 | Sales | Cost | Margin
05/1/23 | Factory 3 | Sales | Cost | Margin
05/2/23 | Factory 1 | Sales | Cost | Margin
05/2/23 | Factory 2 | Sales | Cost | Margin
05/2/23 | Factory 3 | Sales | Cost | Margin
and so on after each refresh......
I understand the date intelligence but how do I create a snapshot table of the data? I need a table that populates a new row every refresh so that I can compare the shift in values.
