How to Send to Back/Disable Button Under Condition

Hi,

 

I have a chart that is meaningless unless there is only one sales manager selected. For this reason, I have put a blank button over the chart, with a conditional formatting background and button text based on whether or not a single manager is selected. It is greyed out when not selected, and fully transparent when one manager is selected. This works great, but now I have lost the ability to click on the chart because the button is on top of the chart. Does anyone have any workarounds for this issue? I've attached sample dashboard below.
