How to Remove the Pages Pane

Hi,

I’d like to enhance the user experience by removing the Pages pane. Currently, I have implemented a page navigator, so I don’t need the Pages pane displayed.

I’ve kept three specific pages (Custody, Deliverable, and Buyer/Seller) that I want users to be able to export; however, their visibility in the Pages pane is not necessary for my report design.

Is there a way to hide or remove the Pages pane from the report while ensuring that users can still export only those three pages?

Thank you for your help!

Your job is it to make it easier for your report users to get to insights.  Your job is not to treat your users like toddlers.  Stop wasting your time, focus on providing insights.

  • Hi Kedar_Pande, Hope you are doing good!

If you have multiple visible pages, Power BI currently doesn’t allow you to completely "hide" the page tabs. However, you can adjust the location of the tabs to enhance the report’s look. In Power BI Service:

Go to File > Settings within your report.

Select the option "Display report pages as tabs along the bottom of the report."

This will move the page tabs to the bottom of the report, similar to the layout in Power BI Desktop.

That said, if you want to hide tabs completely, here’s an approach that might help:

Use the Page Navigator feature on your main page to handle navigation.

Then, hide all other pages in your report so that only the main page with the Page Navigator remains visible. When there’s only one visible page, Power BI automatically hides the page tabs.

Since you want users to export specific pages (Custody, Deliverable, and Buyer/Seller) without displaying them in the Pages pane, keeping those pages hidden in the navigation while still accessible for export should meet your needs.

    Hope this helps!

I've not been able to hide that, there may be something in the HTML.

However you can put them to the bottom of the page:

Power BI Service | Your Report | Settings | Pages Pane | Display as tabs
