How to Refresh Data in Power BI Online

I upload the data in Sharepoint, when I refresh on PowerBI Desktop it is working well. But then because I want another team to refresh the data after they add more rows in SharePoint Excel files, therefore I am looking the way to Refresh the model from PowerBI Online. At this stage, I already try several times but still failed. Please kindly advise.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The error is "The 'Column11' column does not exist in the rowset." The issue is mainly about the schema refresh in Power BI Service.

Please check the notes from the official document:

Data refresh on the Power BI service will fail when the source column or table is renamed or removed. It fails because the Power BI service doesn't also include a schema refresh. To correct this error, a schema refresh needs to happen in Power BI Desktop and the semantic model republished to the service.

Hi @Anonymous , I dont understand the problem exactly. Whether you want to make desing about when adding data in sharepoint automatically trigger pbi dataset refresh or give a refresh right your colleques on pbi online or solve the above "column 11" does not exist problem? Could you give a detail about that?
